Principal's Message

August 2025

Hello Fremont Families,

I am Dave De Los Santos, Principal of Fremont Academy of Environmental Science and Innovative Design. I am extremely proud to be part of the Fremont community, and I look forward to continuing our work of building strong, lasting relationships with our students, families, staff, and everyone who is part of the Fremont family.

As we begin the 2025–2026 school year, I am excited about the important work we will accomplish together as the Fremont team. We will continue to live out our mission of providing every student with a rigorous academic curriculum based on grade-level standards, in a safe and positive environment, so they can reach their full potential as well-rounded individuals.

Our commitment is to collaborate with students, families, and the community to prepare our students to be productive, socially responsible, and ready to thrive in a global, diverse, and technological society. We will focus on providing rigorous, engaging, and relevant instruction that helps students become academically competitive and socially competent. At the same time, we will support the social-emotional growth of our students by fostering strong, positive relationships between students, families, and staff. We will create a safe, inclusive, and drug-free learning environment that promotes academic excellence and respect for all. We will also ensure families have meaningful opportunities to participate in their child’s academic and social-emotional development.

We believe that the love, support, and high expectations we share will empower our students to meet challenges and prepare for college, careers, and lifelong success. Together, we will create a fun, supportive, and goal-focused environment where every student can thrive.
